I am not and Over the top person and we want a simple but classy look.
Ps its in a thai restaurant and the restaurant itself has enough detailing!
A trio of tall pillar candles in different sizes grouped together. You can also arrange them nicely & use a sheer ribbon tie. Or, since it is in a thai restaurant, some bold colored pillar candles to bring out the colors of the decor. Great with the atmosphere. Good Luck!

2007 Jul 25 1just have a simple centerpiece of a few gerbra daisy's in a tall thin vase. Those shouldn't cost more then $10-$15 per centrepiece.

2007 Jul 25 5If you wanted to keep it simple, you could use glass votives, flower petals, small floral arrangement. Or you could float some flower petal and floating candles in the glass bowls usually made for this. That may have the most affect.

2007 Jul 25 6I think small vases with only a few flowers in them look great. Small candles also look nice.
We are putting blocks of pics of us next to vases with flowers. It will give the guests something else to look at which will be nice because we are having family from other states come. They will be able to see how our everyday lives are!

2007 Jul 25 7Antique miniature buckets with bright colored peppers in them.
You can get a stack of miniature antique buckets for less than $20. By some brightly colored peppers – which go well with most flowers, formal attire, and almost any pattern. The peppers won't brown for a week while flowers or other things might change within a day.
Also, the peppers will serve a dual purpose – bugs hate them, so you'll be sure to keep flies away if you're outdoors or in a warm place.

2007 Jul 25 8You could use simple fish bowls, fill them half full with water and place a floating candle (color to match your wedding theme) in there just before guests will be arriving you light them. This is simple yet looks great.

2007 Jul 25 9My sister-in-law got married this weekend & had such a simple & classy setting. She took tall cylinder vases & filled them w/ fresh fruits (she used lemons & limes cause those were her colors) and then filled them w/ about 1/2 – 3/4 of water. The fragrance was rich, & she didn't have to spend a whole lot of $$$ on flowers (just in the bouquets). She put little tea light candles around the main vase. It turned out GREAT. Simple, but classy.
*You could do this using any color of fruit you would like.
Hobby Lobby sells the tall cylinder vases (that are sort of big) for ½ price every so often.
Also, remeber less is more. You could just do a small arangement of maybe 3 roses cut short in a small round vase.

2007 Jul 25 10Depending on what your flowers are you could have 3/4 different size vases (Close together) with one of each flower in each vase.. With a few tealight candles around the outside.
Simple yet unique
Congrats on the big day!
