Centerpiece/Table Decorations?
25 Feb 2009
Keep in mind, the couple is on a tight budget. Early afternoon wedding. Rectangle tables.
Colors: blue, white, silver, black
Table Linen: white (white linen is free)
All suggestions are welcomed.
you could put different color gems to match the wedding colors…vases like these can be bought at IKEA or a 99 cent store
Here is another simple one…get silk flowers at Walmart and vases find some place…
This is kinda nice but cheesy looking…

Or you could buy floating candles in the different colors and do something like this…

2009 Feb 26 2I saw on “Who’s Wedding is it Anyway?” a wedding planner came up with these pretty cool centerpieces that were super cheap to make. He got these pretty large vases (very tall) and had a florist fill them with all “Baby’s Breath”. No other flower but baby’s breath! They were huge and really cool. Most people don’t realize that baby’s breath is super inexpensive since its a filler. His name was Donnie Brown. They wre very tall and huge in size. Kinda like a topiary of some sort. Simply stunning for the price!

2009 Feb 26 4I am using floating candles in a silver and glass holder. The candles that came with the set are white, but you could find some with your other wedding colors. They have a ring of white roses around the holder. I found them at wrapwithus.com for $4.99 each.

You could fill vases full of the above mixed together or choose from others on the page below to fill vases for the center of the tables and then put little candles near the vases like these:
