Centerpiece ideas for a wedding held at a Japanese garden?

We are on a tight budget so we need ideas for centerpieces we could make ourselves, please help!

you can even do the waterbowls with floating candles in them… add some marbles in the bottom in the color of your choice and voila!

    Glass bowls filled with water and a water lilly?? You can find nice glass bowls even at a dollar store. (not sure on the size of a water lilly…so another exotic looking flower if they're too big)
