Do you think its weird to have teapots as center pieces on all the tables at my wedding reception? BE HONEST?

I've got four months to plan my wedding (YIKES!!!!) so Mom is helping me. My fiancee is English (most people don't know because he came to USA at age 15 and worked hard to erase his accent) and I've always been a girlie girl who loves teacups and tea pots, so Mom suggested having them as center pieces at the reception.

Is that weird? Should people take the pots home? Should the teapots match? Should I put flowers in them? Tea baggies? Leave them empty? Also, where can I buy at least 12 teapots for cheap?
Sharon - I appreciate your honesty even if you do think it's weird. I want to make a good decision!

I think it's a very cute idea. I would put flowers in them that way it would match. You can always go on ebay and see if you can get some cheap teapots that match.
