Help with centerpiece/table decoration, please?
02 Mar 2009
I've chosen robin's egg blue and white as my main colors, with crystal as far as decoration. Any ideas for creative centerpieces, or where I might find ideas?
Pooty -thanks for pointing my av out, I haven't changed it in forever, lol! And thanks on the congrats, too. =]
We're using round tables, and thank you all so much. You all really have some great ideas!!
If you want flowers you can do bouquets with crystal accents or your initals in crystals in them, they have some on ebay…
You could do floating candles in white and blue. with the little crystals on the table around it
Or you could do candies in your colors in a vase or martini glass or something

2009 Mar 02 1Those are very "beach-y" colors, so I'd do something with maybe sand in a clear glass with white and blue beads. Then you can have tealights around the centerpiece and it will reflect nicely off the glass.
P.S. Why the sad face? You're getting married! Congratulations!

2009 Mar 02 4Are you having round or square ish tables? There is the good ol' 3 vases all in different height filled with water and a floating candle, or if you can only find ones the same height fill the water at different levels. You can put anything in the botton like those crystals with some blue coloured beads or glass pebbles. For a straight table you could get a box (6" X 6' ish) and grow some white flowers in it like… tulips? Haha I don't know how easy they are to grow but you get the idea! And have some material that has a pattern with robin's egg blue and white (kinda like a damask pattern?) you could line the outside of the box with.
Pattern like this:

To tie things together you could make some napkin holders with the same material (cut a toilet roll inner to the size you want and hot glue the material around it) hmmm you could also make wine glass things with the wire and blue crystals.
