Chinese fighter fish. You can get a colorful fish and get different color rocks. Name the fish, put a card next to it with food(for the fish) asking someone at the table to take the fish home and make him/her their own. My friend did this and I have had the fish (Fred Flinstone) for over a year.

Hydrangias have blues, greens, whites and yellows, all in one!
Accent them with daisies, white with yellow centers, it will make a light and happy bouquet!
    CONGRATS on your wedding!!!!

Bamboo sticks in vases are an easy and inexpensive option and a little tropical even.
A very modern option (and they don't leave a mess behind)

How about rose bowls with green and blue rocks with 1 gold fish swimming around..maybe place some flowers around them. Send the fish home with the kids at the wedding.

We are arranging potted plants in the center.

Pansies are nice! The mini-pots are also doubling as favors for the guests…

We've got a tall glass vase and are filling it with something, as yet undecided, maybe rocks or rose petals and then in the vase will be a bunch of those twisted distorted willow twigs. Our florist is them decorating the twigs with tinkly butterflies and beads, it is inexpensive and looks really cute.
