Some other outdoor location such as a beach, a garden and a park can be much cheaper too.

Glamorous events and theme weddings are more expensive in a number of ways, and the outfits take lots of money out of the bank account. A nice cocktail dress can actually do for wedding planning on a budget. You can also rent the wedding dress or have a nice simple gown made especially for the event. People getting married in summertime also have the advantage of weather and they have worries when it comes to dressing. Judging by overall criteria, summer weddings are a lot cheaper.

Save lots of money on decorations. When you have the flower arrangements custom-made you will pay more than if you made them yourself. Why not ask a few friends or family members to help with the task? The flowers can be ordered in advance but delivered only the day before the ceremony. When the decorations are ready, spray them with fresh water and have them placed in a cool place. Arrange flowers on the tables only on the day of the wedding.

You can continue to make savings with the invitations, the thank you notes and the envelopes. Do not judge the emotional side of the event by the sums of money that you spend. Invitations can be hand-made, printed right at home with quality equipment, particularly when you don’t have more than 100 guests. Part of the menu can also be home-made, when organizing some traditional ethnic wedding party. And the list of suggestions can continue!
