From the moment the engagement is announced and the big day starts to loom, the potential for a mishap is preperation is a growing spectre. Preparing for the “Big Day” can only be a daunting prospect but one shouldn’t despair?
Looking at recent movies (an instructional approach recommended to all) such as ‘Sex And The City’ and ‘The Wedding Planner’, we can see that a new breed of “fixer” has appeared on the scene. This well dressed and self-confident personage is like a magician that clicks their fingers and assuages the biggest obstacles to everlasting joy.
The number of weddings and couples opting for marraige has steadily increased in recent years, creating the need for the seasoned expert who can navigate their way through the complexities inherent. The wedding planner should be almost superhuman in their attitude to fears and styles and decision making. Tell mum that she can come along for the ride but the organising has been outsourced - this is a journey into joy.
It can be difficult at first for the groom to be taking instructions from a stranger on where to get properly dressed for the big occasion. The wedding planner has seen on numerous occasions the approaches that bring tears of joy welling up from the heart and the kind that come from desperation and sadness from failure.
