If you have just got engaged then you are about to learn just how much work planning your wedding can be. You have to decide on who you will ask to be in your wedding party. This is a difficult choice especially when you have many close family and friends. After you have chosen the people that will be in your wedding you then have to start deciding on wedding dresses and brides maids gowns.
After choosing what the women will wear it is time to choose what the men will wear. Then it is time to decide whether you want to hire a band or have a DJ for the reception. Then it is on to choosing colors and types of flowers for the decorations, centerpieces, and bouquets. Don’t forget you have to choose the food and drinks too.
If you are thinking about having coffee at your wedding reception you will want to be sure you have a big enough coffee maker. One of the 4 cup coffee maker will just not work unless you are having a very small wedding. You still might want to go with the bigger coffee maker to be sure you have enough.
You also have to choose the type of food you want served and how you want it served. You can either have individual plates of food served at the tables for each guest or you could choose to go with a buffet type menu. This is a great idea because you can cook many different things so every guest can find at least a couple things they like to eat.
You could get a roasting pan that can be set on a warmer so that the food will be served hot. You don’t want the food to end up cold before everyone eats. You can find these pans at just about any store or buy them online for great prices.
Now do not forget about the wedding bands. When it is time to look at rings you will see a hundred wedding bands for men as well as women before the two of you finally decide on the ones you both like. Your best man and maid of honor will have jobs they have to do as well. It is the maid or honors job to have a bridal shower for the bride to be and it is the best mans job to have a bachelor party for the groom to be.
Bachelor party usually makes people think of alcohol and strippers. However these days the bachelor parties are usually stripper free. The last thing on your long list of things to do is register for your wedding gifts at a store of your choice.
