If you don’t have unlimited funds, you should look for items where you can save some money.  You should try to avoid cutting back too much on elements that will serve as a permanent fixture in your marriage—photography and wedding jewelry. These are two areas that can be pretty expensive at a first look but there are steps you can take to get what you want at a reasonable cost. On the other hand, there are expenses other than jewelry for your wedding and the wedding photography where you can trim costs.

Begin by asking yourself if it makes sense to forgo having the reception for your wedding at someplace other than the most expensive location.Just lowering expectations a small amount you would be able to save a large amount of money without anyone knowing that you cut costs.There a lot of venues where you can celebrate a wedding with beautiful surroundings at an affordable cost.

You will also be able to save on the cost of transportation.A number of couples rent luxury transportation for everyone in the wedding party.  You don’t need this extravagance, and if you really want to rent a limo why not just rent it for the bride and groom and let it end there?  The money that you save by cutting corners elsewhere can be put toward purchasing your wedding jewelry.

Flowers and decorations is another area that you will find that you can easily cut back and save a lot of money.  If you do some of your decorations yourself, or limit flowers to the places where decorations really need to be to make the area feel more wedding like, it will be much more affordable.Churches offer an opportunity where you can spend very little to create a festive atmosphere.

As you can see, aside from photography and wedding jewelry there are some areas where you can cut back just a little bit and make financing your wedding much more doable.  Weddings are expensive, and because they are a once in a lifetime event you can accept some of this, but at the same time you don’t want to go broke as your wedding is just the beginning of your life together!Try to find the items that will not leave anyone knowing where the cuts in expenses are and also in areas that will not be things that would aways bother you such as your jewelry and wedding attire,yet will still save money!
