Planning A Bridal Shower?

Bridal showers can be the most enjoyable part of the activities that precede a wedding. They offer an opportunity for the bride and her acquaintances to spend quality time together prior to her moving on to her wedded life with her husband to be. The following tips will help you plan a bridal shower to remember…

1) Start planning early. To reduce the stress involved, start your preparations well in advance. Do not have the mindset that you will be able to do everything in a few days. It should start to take shape at least a month before so that you have the best possible chance of getting all the supplies you need and that all of your desired guests will be free.

2) Keep it simple. Try not to go overboard and have so much going on that the focus is taken away from the bride to be. Use activities and decorations reasonably so as to maintain a sense of the event being elegant and classy.

3) Select a theme. Decide on a theme, like commitment or love, and center the activities, decorations, and possibly even the catering, around that theme. Picking out a special color as a theme can also add to the event and result in the photos being even better.

4) Use a food service that delivers. Having this service will free you up for other preparations on the day of the bridal shower. Additionally, select a range of food types so that the tastes of all of the invitees will be catered for.

5) Opt for an indoor venue. Although the outside can be a nice touch, you are laying the success of the bridal shower at the mercy of the weather which is not something that you want to rely on for such an important event. It is best to use the home of one of the guests or hire a venue, such as a restaurant or bar.
