Also..another suggestion we do at our school…each "class" does a centerpiece basket with a theme…we are in the chicago area..so an example would be ..the Bears…and everyone in the class brings in one item for "the Bears" basket….a mug, a pennant, key chain..etc. then we raffle them at the end of the night in a silent raffle…we have raised $1000s doing this…
