Theme is 1950's Old Hollywood. It will be outdoors, and my boquet is going to be calla lilies and peonies. I will have a gardenia in my hair. I want simple centerpieces, but no idea what to do.

Why not make a centerpiece that is composed of a bunch of sunglasses (enough for all your guests). They can even be personalized for your wedding day. I am sure this will make a lot of buzz with your guests. Everyone will be styling their new shades.

Rose petals on the table work great, in case the wind blows them onto the ground you do not have to worry about environmental hazards.

A single cake on each table.

Candles are a must for outdoor wedding receptions. Candles are great for creating soft lighting without increasing your costs (chinese orbs can do this).
