   For a centerpiece, you could do something like this:

   The bottom photo. To tie in your dark purple, you could tie ribbon around the vases. I'm not clear what your style is like but this might work too:

   You could use stars, film canisters (like the old fashioned movie ones) or replica oscar statues, they would be perfect for marking table numbers as well and if you wanted to add flowers, just a single flower or small bunch in a tall vase beside them…

   Why not make a centerpiece that is composed of a bunch of sunglasses (enough for all your guests). They can even be personalized for your wedding day. I am sure this will make a lot of buzz with your guests. Everyone will be styling their new shades.

   Rose petals on the table work great, in case the wind blows them onto the ground you do not have to worry about environmental hazards.

   A single cake on each table.

   Candles are a must for outdoor wedding receptions. Candles are great for creating soft lighting without increasing your costs (chinese orbs can do this).

   i would stick with the calla lilies - just a few - in a simple glass vase - they are nice and simple and will fit perfectly into the old hollywood theme

   Your coloring is very dramatic, so I think the ostrich feathers in tall Eiffel vases could be perfect.

   Another option, just regular full-size callas (white) in a simple vase is deco and dramatic, go with the largest size tho.

   Other Hollywood CPs I've seen: classic white rose arrangements with a gold faux oscar at the base, very cute.
