Getting To Grips With Common Anxiety Symptoms
03 Jan 2010
Alarming alerts related to medical and health conditions like cardiac arrest or seizures seem to be surfacing all over worldwide television of late. TV and radio ads instruct us what to do if we experience dizziness, passing out, tingling sensations, and so on. But, hardly ever will you hear an ad explaining common anxiety symptoms, which is particularly demeaning considering many people go through them and are usually confused by these symptoms.
Going through anxiety symptoms is exceptionally common in our modern culture, when we get faced with stressful events on a consistent basis. Whether it is the concern that we might be lost in an unfamiliar country or we’re going to be late for a very important event or if the cell phone rings unexpectedly, we all face anxiety at some point in our lives. Thousands of people on the other hand may have anxiety symptoms for what seems to be no cause at all, and may confuse these symptoms with the symptoms of having a stroke or some alternate medical condition. Those who suffer from anxiety attacks often confuse these symptoms.
Panic symptoms are clearly unique for everyone, and often it’s apparent that they’re just having anxiety – right before speaking in public, when they’re about to tie the knot, when you open your front door and see two law enforcement officers standing there; these events can easily make any of us stressed and nervous! But for most of us, anxiety symptoms can also include shortness of breath, heart contractions, vommiting, chest pains, irregular breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes. Stomach aches, and headaches are not unheard of either. You can appreciate how these conditions could actually be misdiagnosed as a cardiac arrest or asthma or any type of other conditions.
If you exeprience these anxiety symptoms on a regular basis, and particularly if they seem to occur for no reason, you should probably speak to your doctor. Initially, you might want to eliminate the possibility of it being a heart attack or something that serious. After that, he or she can prescribe pills or therapies that can help you deal with the anxiety symptoms while at the same time working with you to understand why you’re stressed and anxious to begin with. You could have some chemical abnormalities in the brain or could need to practice some new positive techniques on how to think about stressful situations so that you will be able to reduce the flaring up of an anxiety attack before it gets really bad.
I managed to cure my panic disorder after a lot of hassle and dragging my family through the nightmare with me. The treatment I used was entirely natural, drug-free and did not require expensive therapy – I’m overjoyed to report that I’ve been anxiety free for a few years now, I only wish I had used it years earlier.
