Edible wedding favors are bound to please almost everyone at a wedding reception. You can of course provide savory favors which can be novel but the vast majority will prefer something sweet. You can make this really elaborate if you wish but generally a plain bar of candy that comes with a commemorative wrapper is a good idea. Some brides and grooms may even decide to have their pictures on the wrapper along with their names and the wedding date. Many modern bakeries are able to produce this sort of cookie relatively simply as all they need is your personal design or select one of theirs. Another category of edible wedding favors (although not strictly food) are beverages like tea, flavored coffees or cocoa for example. Tea, coffee and cocoa are very popular with many people and there a huge range to choose from these days so you would not have just stick with the most popular available. A picture and other wedding information can also be placed on the box or container because it adds that touch of individuality.
