Wedding jewelry is often what makes a bride feel as beautiful as can be as she walks down the aisle.This is not to say that she doesn’t love her dress, veil or tiara, or her shoes, it’s just that jewelry adds a little something to an outfit, especially wedding attire, that makes it more beautiful and somehow more complete. For this reason, choosing wedding jewelry can be more difficult than a lot of women anticipate.Many women have a family member who is willing to give away their wedding jewelry and this lessens the stress for the bride, but if you aren’t lucky enough to have things on hand, it’s ok, you’ll find beautiful wedding jewelry.
You should always consider what your dress looks like before making any major decisions on what type of jewelry to purchase. You want to complement the dress not over power it. You could wear a good amount of jewelry with a simple dress and maybe not as much with a more involved wedding dress. With each dress being so different you really have to look at the dress and consider what will compliment it well, not overpower it. Less is always more when it comes to wearing jewelry on your wedding day.
The two classic types of wedding jewelry are pearls and diamonds. Pearls are often a nice touch because they bring that classic beauty to a wedding gown. If you don’t like pearls, not to worry, diamonds are also a great option.You might consider purchasing earrings, a necklace, and even a bracelet.The most important ring will be placed on your finger during the ceremony so there is no need to buy any rings for your wedding jewelry!
If you are not into pearls or diamonds you still have plenty of great options. Many brides simply choose to go with plain silver or gold jewelry though many of the precious stones such as rubies, sapphires, opal, and amethyst have become very popular. Simply choose the type of wedding jewelry that complements your dress and your personality and go with it. Your wedding day is all about you, so you don’t need to go with the classic choices if you aren’t the classic bride and the same can be said about the more modern selections.Wear whatever jewelry you feel comfortable in!
