An added incentive to having a wedding in Costa Rica is that it’s a tropical location full of sun, sand, and surf. This has to be a definite turn-on for many people who want the wedding/honeymoon experience. Factor in the natural beauty of the country’s many resort areas, and it’s almost impossible to find a downside to one of these ceremonies.

And Cost Rica has no shortage of good wedding planning businesses, ready to handle all aspects of the activity, right down to the cake and wedding photos. Any of the good companies will offer a range of packages designed to fit just about every budget and taste, too. The picture just keeps getting prettier with each passing moment, doesn’t it?

Most of these companies, as an example, offer what’s termed an ‘elopement package.’ These cover just about everything, including a local lawyer to take care of the paperwork and even perform the ceremony, complete with witnesses and bouquet for the bride. They arrange for a beachside wedding site, too, and will even sell the couple a range of all-inclusive honeymoon stays, for after the wedding ceremony.

Costa Rica weddings are more-and-more becoming a method for people to just get away and have a quiet but beautiful marriage on a beach in a tropical location. Plus, they can also combine the wedding with a honeymoon in the same beautiful tropical location. Given the skyrocketing costs of so-called ‘traditional’ weddings, these sorts of ceremonies are sure to become even more popular as time goes by.
