Our wedding is in August and our colors are navy blue with silver accents. I am looking for something inexpensive, we will have about 25 tables to decorate.
wow that's a heap of tables
it's going to cost no matter how thrifty i suggest lol
try cheap vases from walmart. they have oodles under $10 each
you can probly use gerberas in them. they are cheap and larger so they will take up room in the vase.
hit up the floral dpt of your grocery store. they are cheaper than florists. or try those sites that sell bulk flowers

since they don't come in blue use ribbon to bring that to the arrangements… bbcrafts.com has super cheap ribbon
oh i forgot… look at save-on-crafts.com they have a how to section. they have crystallized branches that are really pretty and would be super cheap to do. you can collect branches from yards and forests nearby.
just put the branches in some vases… you can get blue bead garland to swag on the branches.
some cheap votives put at the base will give you a nice twinkles as it reflects off the glitter

2009 Feb 12 2We bought fish bowls and ordered some aqua crystals and are putting flowers in those with mirrors under them. We also have sand in some with a candle and beach glass around them for 15 tables we spent a total of $35. Look on save-on-crafts.com

2009 Feb 12 3Some very affordable centerpieces would be to cover the tables with a tabla cloth. Color of your choice. Take paper dolies put the in the middle. We used cleaned out glass that had candles in them. Wrapped them with tulle and placed roses in them. You can buy the roses at Kroger for around 10 dollars a dozen. Then go to the dollar store and buy 12 packs of votives for 3 dollars each. Then take some ribbon cut it and hot glue it around each votive. I also took some of those shiny pebbles and tossed them around it. It made for a beautiful do it yourself centerpiece. It may sound like it looks to busy but it really doesn't I have pics if you would like to see them. Just let me know. Hope this helps you out some. Congrautlations on your upcoming wedding!!!

2009 Feb 12 7this is what we are having made for us for each row at our reception. i found this picture on the internet and the balloon decorator in our town is handling this for us at a very great rate. we wanted something different and unique. we are having this done in our wedding colors. the thing in the background we are not having….only what is on the table. we can also pull this off since we have a huge tall facility.

2010 Jan 03 9A local flower wholesaler might have some fresh flowers you can purchase from and arrange yourself if you’re handy with your hands. You can also try http://www.wholeblossoms.com as they sell pre-made bouquets for weddings.
