Bridesmaid Gifts at The Knot Wedding Shop

I am in charge of the decorations, it's in 6 months from now, i wanted to do something a lil different but nice, i had seen a center piece with balloons, greenery, and some tulle, what do you think?????

This is really just my personal opinion, but to me, balloons should be reserved only for kids birthday parties. Not something so important as a 50th wedding anniversary.
There are plenty of things you can do as centerpieces rather than balloons. Anytime I have ever seen them done, without fail look cheap.

The 50th anniversary is called The Golden Wedding Anniversary. I think this memorable event deserves something a little classier than balloons. Items for such a special occasion can be purchased at inexpensive prices in the Arts & Crafts dept. at Walmart. You can always add a special touch using roses, gold colored candles, etc.

The 50th anniversary is celebrated with gold and having this as your theme works really well - everyone loves a bit of sparkle.

Balloons are nice but can get in the way of everyone being able to see each other - and from my experience guests tend to sit and chat more at anniversary parties than at weddings.

Other ideas may be to add a splash of gold to the table with a gold table runner and then if the venue allows gold candles. You could also have framed photos of the anniversary couple from their wedding day on each table as the centerpiece.

Photos through the years of their marriage is also a great way to decorate the venue and provides lots to talk about.
