hey thanks those are all great ideas its for my mother in law….i like her alot lol so i want it to be nice we bought a bunch of neon bowls streamers and table cloths, food i got catered and im making hanging rubiks cubes out of boxes along with cassett tapes i have a grip of posters we put up from the 80s movies and bands, i have cutout of key phrases and words she used and clothing brand symbols to hand and put up, its just the table im stuck on i want unique, somethig people see and go wow i never thought of that
locate some old 45 records,maybe from a thrift store. they could be played,hung for decoration or used in centerpieces. 8 track tapes,break dancing,biggest hair contest,

money trees are great or you can find some kind of nice glass jar or cool shaped glass container and fold up money into fans or origami of some kind and place them in there.

We also need an idea for one person at that table to win it. Any help would be much appreciated. The stuffed animals are about 1 1/2 feet tall. Not very big but not to small either. I want them to look as festive and fun as possible. We have ten tables of 10 people at each table. Kids and adults.
HAVE IT HOLDING A XMAS CARD OR IF IT HAS MUSIC TURN IT ON SOON AS THE TABLE IS DONE.

For a 16th birthday party. It has a tropical theme. What would be some good inexpensive centerpiece ideas?
I wanted to do floating candles in bowls, but I can't find inexpensive floating candles. Where could I get them? thanks.
Major centerpiece, I'm making one now, a watermelon boat with cut fruit and garden flowers, hibiscus looks best. We've used bowls with Beta fish, but you need two bowls, they fight. Oriental Trading Company online has great tropical theme items.

flowers or candles or both. sometimes simplicity is elegant.
if it were a banquet table, i'd probably have more to suggest.
party favors: decorations,of coarse, noise makers, party hats, door prizes, and a live band.
a nice party punch: 1 can frozen orange concentrate, 1 can water, 1 can 7up, i can vodka, i egg, 1 scoop of ice cream.
blend together until it looks like a milkshake and pour into punch bowl. repeat as many times as necessary.
