I am in charge of the decorations, it's in 6 months from now, i wanted to do something a lil different but nice, i had seen a center piece with balloons, greenery, and some tulle, what do you think?????
This is really just my personal opinion, but to me, balloons should be reserved only for kids birthday parties. Not something so important as a 50th wedding anniversary.
There are plenty of things you can do as centerpieces rather than balloons. Anytime I have ever seen them done, without fail look cheap.

Also if you have any tips for incorporating this color with invitations or flowers, it would truly HELP! TIA!!!!
Orange lillies would look pretty among some colorful flowers (yellow roses, purple roses purple irises, pink, etc.)

Tulips in April for Wedding Centerpieces?
23 Feb 2009
Are tulips in bloom during April? If so are they expensive if I wanted to use them as a centerpiece? Does anyone know of a good florist in southern california more specific the south bay area?
Yes, tulips are in season during all of spring. They are not expensive.

Any ideas for November wedding centerpieces?
21 Feb 2009
I'd like them to be rustic and not too expensive. My colors are browns and gold, some burnt orange and i'd like to incorporate a hint of cranberry!
I like this idea, and you could DIY its a glass vase, come cranberries and they use carnations, but you can buywhat ever flowers in bulk or even use silk http://entertaining.about.com/od/flowersandcenterpieces/ss/flowersberries.htm
You could use brown table linen.
